puppets

I cannot resist not to take few pictures from the beautiful book on puppets. All of them are from before 1950 and these are just little snips from a great portion. The first ones are little souls from 1910, I don't know how they worked as puppets, they were just flowing around, I guess, the last pic shows backdrops from a play Princess Petrol, 1931. I could have taken pictures of more freaky looking puppets now that I am looking back in the book, a devil with a cubistic face, for example. The book is going to be published in English next year.
