Jičín

This loggie is a peculiar type of architecture. Am I inside, am I outside? There is a courtyard surrounded by buildings behind the loggie but the most attractive part is actually just like a peel. This little palace stands at the end of an alley. Majestic as it can be, from 1620 or something, with four rows of oaks. It connects this little palace with the town of Jičín. Nice outing. Only if there was not a busy road going all the way along the alley.

...

I have been frenetically knitting. Something for the little guy, so that it would go fast. That is about all interesting going on here.
The yellow daffodils are called narcis in Czech. I wonder why.

...

In daddy's studio in Prague.
With mummy in a chateau. Little quick trip that we made just today. It was great to be out. Domik was observing sculptures of renown men and asked me if these people were real in the past. After I said that it was right, he was sitting quiet for a while and then said dismayed: I would not want to turn into a sculpture. I explained that the case with dinosaurs in a museum was different.

On a happier note

When I look in this book I feel like I also want to knit, cut fabrics, papers, draw with color pencils and make up silly stories. I even have a sympathy for little animals living in socks. I was going to stick here a tun of pictures but would not it be little unfair to the author? I wonder. The book is new new.
