Corner View / out of the car window

Vlašim, bus station, yesterday afternoon.
On the way home from this beautiful cottage I recalled my only duty for this week - a corner view post. We were just approaching this middle sized town in central Bohemia which, like many towns here, have a nice historic core, even little chateau and park next to the square, and completely disorganized and messy surroundings, that mostly begin right behind the medieval, surviving or not, city walls. This is actually a view at the train station.

Isn't it great how Corner View makes us pay attention to what's around us!!
Your photo gives the feel of a hard working town.
thanks for sharing.

in finland we have a disease to built ugly, big boxes, halls like warehouse in every city and village. it started in 60´s. they call them shops. stores or shopping areas. the old atmosphere is ruined. i could weep.

your cottage is really a beauty!
have a nice week!

I think the historic cores are all being swallowed by messy, ugly surroundings. In my village, they are ripping apart one of the old stone empty buildings, and today a huge colorful for-sale sign appeared: "modern apartments with garage, in rural, traditional hamlet". There is a place for history, and a place for necessary modern, but it's not easy to find how and where.
