My notebook crashed, such a nice time I am having now. I read for example, sit and stare, it is good to do, too. Well, right now I am sitting at my husbands computer. Luckily, for my free time outside of computer, he sits here a lot. On the other hand, I had to redo a work I had started before the big crash. How many of us has to face up the fact that everything is lost suddenly, out of nothing, without being backed up and with no hope to be retrieved back? I lost images of Domik that is the only thing I care for. My article from my doctorate work has been sent on its journey to Germany just a day before, other than that I haven't done anything new on it, am I not lucky after all?

I'm sorry to hear that, you are the third person I heard who has incurred in this laptop meltdown...
This picture of you and your baby(they will be our baby forever isn't it?)
is so sweet, and you look good!
I like your attitude of looking at the positive side of things, after all,
regrets make it worse...so go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YGXsw3XK9I
this song is for you:)))
ciao!
wish my computer would crush... my life is pixelized and digitalized lately...
So sorry about your photos, Magda! I lost everything but my photos a few years ago (I paid a computer wizard to retrieve them for me), and I swore that I'd religiously back up, but in fact I don't do that very often. But I'm glad your article was at least in the mail already (how's your doctorate connected with Germany?). Very nice photo of you in your new (computer) "free time":).
A promise to be published in one small local annual book in Germany. I had done the research before I started to do the doctorate, now I work on it further but I haven't done anything really.
Damn it. I sympathise. I live in terror of losing all my photos of Jana. I have them all backed up on an external drive, but then that won't be much use if my external drive gets stolen along with my computer, will it?
beautiful photo....good luck with your computer...
Living for a while without a computer sure is a good thing, but loosing ones photos isn't. I hope you get the photos recovered somehow. But you were lucky indeed, that you had sent your doctorate before the crash.
Enjoy your computerless moments, but come back soon!
I am sorry about your photos! How frustrating. It reminds me that I need to burna couple of disk tomorrow.
Oh No! I would be so upset about the pictures. I am going to buy one of those external memory drives and back everything up. I could not stand losing my pictures and I have nothing back up!!!
