I took these pictures on a brief visit to a workroom of a puppet theater. There was so much to look at, the creativity was springing from everywhere I turned. Apart from that, it felt like: finally I got there where I wished I could at least peep in as a child. And now it is too late. If only I could have taken the pictures with the kid's eyes, they would have been more interesting to look at.
If you wonder, what is in the second picture, it is mushrooms.
Hello there and I am glad that you like reading my blog. Am amazed at your jumper in your previous post and the fact that you just made up the design. It takes real skill to do that and I wouldn't have a clue. I can knit but don't find it easy to follow a chart. Dev X
Thank you so much for your coment in my blog. I'm happy that you could get something more from my images. Hope I can keep on doing more and more images like this. From now on I'll keep checking your blog.
Wow, that is so great. I remember going to Czech puppet shows in Brno when I was a child. They were so wonderful and magical, and yes, I used to wish I could go and see the puppets and play with them. I am so jealous that I was not there with you. I would have enjoyed such a tour even though I am an adult :)
Puppet theatres of our childhood... I used to go to the one in "sokolovna" in our little town that had the puppets and backdrops already from the 20s, 30s when it started. And they used (and they still do, the theatre still exists) the same type of mechanical machines for making storm and rain as they did in adult theatres 200 years ago when theatres widespread generally. Isn't that amazing that this didn't need any development?

I love these photos. They are amazing. At first I wondered if they were decorations from your home. Your explanation is much more interesting.
