is in the shop. Another attempt to reproduce an image of a mosaic or tile floor like they had in Rennaisance. It is quite rich this one, I would like to do something more simple but at the same time I like this "filling up the space".There are also some new birds there, too.

I don't find your embroidery too rich. I'm not sure what a mosaic floor from the Rennaisance looks like, I believe I've only ever seen Roman ones, but I think that just the embroidered outline of the tiles, and not filling in the blocks, makes a very nice overall effect.
I think it could look as a Romanesque one too. Thanks, Francesca, for the analysis, I wasn't aware of it. I am surprised that your husband has his birthday on the same day, I think, I have never met anyone like that.
