I wish that our washing machine stopped doing that threatening squeaky noise. It did not do it before. I wish I did not buy Domik girlish winter shoes. Well, they are blue... What else do I wish? That the life would not fall in pieces.

I sure hope your life is not falling into pieces - everything ok?
I run my washing machine at night last night, because now the electricity rates are higher during the day, but we couldn't go to sleep because of the noise - and it wasn't even making threatening squeaky noises! Enjoy the snow!

Francesca, thank you, my life is not falling in pieces (yet), it is more a general wish that the life keeps a direction. But I think this concern about future touches everybody, more or less.

You know, I bought Matias a wool jumper with some pink stripes in it. I do not understand why girls can wear blue but boys cannot wear pink. As long as Domik is happy with his shoes that is what matters :) Hope you find your direction soon or peace within the randomness/chaos. Yes, it touches all of us at some point.

Hi Magda, I so understand you...
right now I wish not to celebrate xmas...kind of want to skip it this year, I found it meaningless...so my question for Xmas is: can we stop this folly, please?
try to run the washing machine at the higher degree, longest cycle and no clothes inside and see if it gets better! I do it time to time to give it a good clean, but I'm not responsible in case of permanent damage : D
I know kids shoes can be a dreadful nightmare these days...
have a nice day ...if you can ;^)

We wish for the same thing then...

I miss my big washing machine that we left in Italy. Now we have the one that was already in our rented flat: it's old and weird, when it spins it moves almost to the middle of the kitchen and I have to push it back. Plus terrible noise.

Hugs,
Kasia

Dear ladies, thank you all for your cordiality and advice on the washing machine.
I took the shoes back to the store. They were also kind of insecure as far as humidity and such concerns. They had flower and butterfly embroidered but that was OK with me, he is my butterfly on a flower.
