



I went to library. I didn't find what I was looking for but came across a magazine from 1979 on puppets. The second one is related to
this film. And the last one shows marionettes by Sophie Taeuber-Arp from 1918. The first one I don't remember and the third one is some German stuff. For me, it was interesting to find these and many other pictures in some dinky seventies local magazine.

The one thing I remember from my childhood in Brno is going to puppet shows with my mother. Some of the puppets were dark; a bit scary. Puppet shows were often for grownups!
You are absolutely right, my son is afraid of all the puppets, those old ones, marionettes on the stage. I think I can see how their wide open and dead eyes might be scary. Did you see the movie I link to? It is funny, the language, the pronunciation, the plot, it is so absurd.
