There is this story about a brave knight Bruncvik in the Czech literature and folklor who was friends with a lion. They made a pretty nice puppet play out of it, full of experimental features, I actually ended up performing it for my husband later that night, after seeing the show with the little guy. It is true that I performed it mostly for one of the character on the scene, the attractive but tricky princess Africa who appeared on the stage in her carved wooden beauty half naked. It is a kid's play but the kids did not care. They could go and play with the puppets after the show, hence the pictures.
