We have been to London

I went to London after a long time. I don't understand how come that I did not like it so much in 1995. I must have been super sensitive and emotional or something. London used to be gloomy for me. And maybe white. This time it was colorful and happy. I guess I am more happy, too. I had a sense for despair back than and I could see it pretty much anywhere I looked. I don't have that precious sensor anymore. I don't know whether it is good.

Art Therapy for Advanced (by age)

I like the way my son paints and draws. I try to do the same, doodle on a piece of paper like crazy but it just won't go out. It doesn't have the same kick. So instead I finish now what he has started. See the pictures. I added an eye and legs and it is a bird! Face and legs and it is ... an animal. We also have few landscapes with Sun or birds added but these are the least redone. I could do this for a while feeling like I am undergoing some kind of art therapy.

Psycho Test II

This man knits his sculptures. He is actually one of the naive artists who have been finally discovered after they life long struggle with life and art. His name is Alfred Stief, he is a German and our friend in Berlin, who is involved with naive art and art brut has visited him to be able to promote him on the art fair AND SHE HAS A NICE PIECE BY HIM. Even nicer than those on the pictures here that are downloaded from the internet. I say nicer but it is actually as nice as the color one in the third picture (it was the garter stitch and the way the colors mingle in it that attracted me) but the sexual sign has been delicately removed or hidden so that it could have been shown on the art fair in US. :)

psycho test of my 1980s

I came across these designs for sweaters that I made sometime in 1990. I was going to knit it! Luckily, the fashion changed from this 80s artsy diagonal discotheque style to somewhat more rural and natural. I made a bunch of them but honestly only these three are worth showing. In fact, I really like them now, the time proved them. And, of course, the overall nostalgia for the 80s that's back has its part on it. Anyway, I don't think I am going to turn them into real, I find them more as a kind of my psychological test of the time.
So, the other day I came over this sweater on someones blog. It's by Scandinavian Marimekko and of course can't be compared to my poor designs, it's much more beautiful.
